Caurums Žogā1- "Pazeme"

The first ever “Caurums Žogā” (Hole in the fence) originally released on March 15^th 2024, at the bar “Bolderāja” in Riga, Latvia. Cover art by Tina (@whoiseren.spm).

The zine consists of comics submitted by local and some foreign artists, as well as a couple of informative articles.

The theme of the first issue is “Underground”, so the comics are about the lives of underground animals and bugs, worms, the underground music scene, jokes about caves and ironies about life underground and under oppressive systems. 

 The zine also includes two informative articles: “Drug harm reduction” by Vents Arnolds Dalbiņš and “Squatting explained + history of squats in Latvia” written by Krak Lauma and Raivuha. These articles are in Latvian.
